Having a legal wedding in Santorini means that there is a specific documemtation process you need to follow. This process may be different depenting on the country you are coming from. The preperation of your documents should begin a few months prior to your wedding day. Furthermore the process is not the same for civil and orthodox weddings. If you decide to have a symbolic wedding in Santorini documentation is not required. This might also be a good option for couples that may have defficalties gathering the required documents on time. However  you may get legaly married in your country before or after your symbolic wedding in Santorini. No mater what you decide you will still recieve a souvenir wedding cerificate signed by your celebrant.
